Tenderly ridden and moving with ease without being extended , arm movements but zero drive . Could be worth a shot next time out or on hcp debut . www.attheraces.com/atrplayer-popout/VOD/1333085?showResult=yesEngelbert . 👀 5.40 Newcastle, Thursday. Party Business (Ian Williams)
Party Business - 9th in 2.55 Sandown 04/02/23
Party Business was just shy of 20 lengths behind winner Green Book in the Pertemps Qualifier at Sandown last Saturday. That was his first run in 273 days and he caught the eye travelling smoothly around the final bend before blowing up after the second last. He was allowed to coast home at his own pace thereafter but should step forward for that run. Party Business won a Handicap Hurdle off a mark of 132 last April and is now on a mark of 139. He is entered in a Pertemps Qualifier again this Sunday at Exeter. Last year he was fifth in the Martin Pipe Handicap at Cheltenham 6 ¾ lengths behind Banbridge. With improvement fitness wise, he could be competitive in a Handicap at either Cheltenham or Aintree.

Restitution @40/1 WH J: Alexander Thorne T: A King
Rubaud @8/1 WH J: H Cobden T: P F Nicholls Rubaud is a novice rated 130 Monviel @10/1 WH J: T J O'Brien T: P J Hobbs
Against the recent stats OR 140+ novices have landed seven of the last ten Betfair Hurdles,
Tom Lacey won this last year with Glory And Fortune which I backed confidently to place thankfully the stars aligned and he only went on to grab the Glory. 2023 Tom Lacey Racing “He’s very well at home and in great form,” I think he’s grossly overlooked,” he added. “I’d only be pleased with a win on Saturday, that’s the idea of the game.”
Reminiscing & “Getting old” It seems only a few years ago our mighty mare Spirit Leader led them all home here & lifted this prize and all our spirits way back in 2003 “She won’t be beat - Jessica Harrington “ I even had a nice bet on the Forecast with Henderson’s Non So following her home & if I’m honest I thought she would struggle to beat him Only for her to go and follow up at Cheltenham in the County Handicap Hurdle winning £100,000 in just two races but it was the bookies here who felt the blow hardest every man and his dog backed and followed up straight after in what was an easier race than her than her first . “ Good Times “ I’m Definitely not as confident on any of these winning but few days of wishful thinking..

🥇A Dream To Share 👀 Now 6/1 Ante Post✅
Interesting development that JP McManus has went straight out after his own 10/1 Ante Post (backed) Champion Bumper runner tasted defeat by the Gleeson owned 5year old Muhaarar gelding. 🗣Iv a feeling McManus lost a wedge on the WP Mullins trained 6yo & doubled down in the hope A Dream To Share is a bit of a freak & Mullins has nothing to match it come March . It’s a Lottery Win for ITV and RTE presenter Brian Gleeson and his wife Claire & fair play to them , Things dreams are made off & for John Kiely to keep hold of the exciting 5year old everyone’s a winner .
A Dream To Share made a winning debut at Tipperary last May at 8-1, before following up at 2-9 in a winners' bumper at Roscommon the following month. He was returning from a 235-day absence in the Grade 2 bumper at Leopardstown last Saturday but quickened up in the manner of a very talented individual.. R.P.

Cheltenham Hunters chase
This race for me revolves around our NI trainer DM Christie . The Enniskillen trainer had an Agonising 2nd last year with 8yold Winged Leader who went down on his sword to a ultra competitive and a will to win Mullins 10yold Billaway . A Cracking race & the result still haunts me looking back on par with Annie Power falling 2015 under Ruby Walsh ruining my multiples . Christie has an unbelievable string of Hunters all vying for favouritism including 8yold Vaucelet , 9year old Winged leader both owned by Hegarty & O’kane with a 6 year old Fern Lock who accounted for a rusty WP Mullins Billaway by 20L last time out . Billaway was having its first run since April and he has won again since ,
Race Stat- actually still favour the 23 time running Billaway strongly Since 2015 - 3 winners have been 11 all the rest were 10years old 5 wins . I’m against it again whatever the consequences but I’m sure Mullins will have gelding spot on again - 11year old is prone to make mistakes , he did last year at the 11th and still won , He made a bad mistake latest 9th again recovering to win .
Another NI trainer Stuart Crawford has a live chance with 9year old Dorking Cock who hails from their Larne / Loughgall bases . Having his first run from April on Boxing Day @ Down Royal only a neck behind @9/4 favourite here Vaucelet when claiming 7lbs off Ben Crawford. Our PTP horses are some of the best in Britain & Ireland and deserve the respect 2023 at the top of the market this year round . Hopefully they fill the winning & place positions if all Making it to March without hiccups.
Hopefully €2k foal Winged Leader can lineup & win and get deserved compensation .. RFC & RTC Christy three and Crawford’s Winged Love Gelding who is probably overpriced @12/1 ew chance

Under The Radar horses
American Mike
Last years Cheltenham Bumper 2nd behind WP Mullins favourite Facile Vega @15/8.. Mullins supreme entry is 2/1 favourite & William Hills worst result to date before this 2023 meeting “interestingly” even after the Walk In The Park gelding blew up in February’s Grade 1 Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle. This horse has had small issues but is crying out for a trip and with a line through his last 2mile run whatever race he runs in I will be an Each Way Player He can outrun his odds especially back at Cheltenham ..
First bet a small each NRNB Ballymore @33/1 with rubbish placings still 1-2-3 with all firms & will be first around 5 placings when the dust settles. Gordon Elliott has hinted this is his preferred race but scepticism lurks on his plotted Gambles 2023 especially when he has largely been shunned by the media , owners and Betfair . Elliott admits he failed to get him in a Hcp but Iv a feeling this 200k 20L PTP winner purchase is still a Grade 1 winner in waiting/written all over him.
Elliott Could go obviously still go for the Supreme against CB winner Facile Vega & @66/1 NRNB Sky Bet against that favourite @2/1 going simply on their 2022 Cheltenham form / head to head is a value bet if you can forgive recent form .. Keep dreaming 💫
